Combines Feederhouse shutdown

If you are feeding slugs, there is a feature on these machines called Automatic Feeder Cutoff or something like that. I think you can have it turned off, but I don't remember how. It will also cut off if the charge air temp gets to high on the engine, but you should be getting lights and alarms for that.

I would agree with deaduck and AFC. You can go into the a post set up and turn afc off. You will then get a warning message on startup that afc is off. Are you getting any other warnings from the shaft monitor. You must be above 1800 engine rpm for the shaft monitor to be active. The sensor for feeder house speed that controls afc is locted on the flywheel of the reverser. Have you checked you sllp clutch of the feeder driveIJ AFC is to protect that clutch.

If you still have problems check the wire harness that reads gear speed for the chain. The harness is above the reverser motor. Had same problem on a 2166, the plug looked connected but the wires pulled out from the inside. Completely dissasemble harness and check.
