We are new to pig farming, always been a crop farm. We have not bought any piglets yet, have to do research first. How often (how many times a day) and what do you feed piglets?
Are you getting piglets soon, as in during the winter, or will you wait until spring and you're just lining everything up now? I ask because the piglets will need to eat more during the winter. You should typically feed them twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.
You can either get a self-feeder or feed the piglets twice a day. I prefer to hand-feed our livestock because it allows me to observe how much they are eating. If you hand-feed, you'll want to feed about every 12 hours. So, for instance, feed around 7AM and 7PM each day.
