Combines Flax wrapping on 914 pickup table auger

Can you change the finger timing on the 914's, if so adjust it so the fingers are farthest in on the upside, if that still don't cure it, pull fingers, you only need a few in, we use versatile 2k's and they are bad for wraping on the table auger, as soon as we hit the flax I take all the fingers out but two, cover the holes with duct tape and wraping is not a problem. Also tape up any thing that looks like it could hook straw, usually if you keep your eye on the auger you see were it starts.

Wrangler, Here in Missouri during fescue season we experience this wrapping as soon as the sun sets due to higher moisture in the windrows, like the other post here says first change teh finger timing so the fingers retract earlier and if not then resort to taking fingers out. Good luck
