Floods!!

We have been hit really hard over the last few days. We are in a state of emergency due to flooding. Our neighbors were hit a lot harder than us. They had to bring their cattle over to our fields (their fields and barn flooded). What a mess!!

Oh boy! That's dangerous! How did your cattle react when the other cattle were brought in? I hope your neighbor is able to clean his property and there wasn't too much damage.

We had a flood when I was a small child. We lost part of our barn and several animals! I'm thankful to read that your neighbor was able to move his.

I can remember my gramps telling me about a flood they had before I was born. They lost a lot of chickens and 1 cow.
I lived through one flood in the 70s but we didn't lose any farm animals.

We are dealing with the same thing (not us but the next town over). The water was so deep that it took out a couple of bridges and ripped up some roads. That town is not even in a flood zone.

Oh my god, that's perilous! However, the most important thing is that now you and your neighbor are ok!
I have never had the possibility to see a flood in my land, and I sincerely don't think this can happen (we live on the mountains very close to a slope, the water goes away),but I know for sure this is a disconfort condition. Anyway, I hope this situation ends quickly.

We are a lot better now. I just hope Henri doesn't hit tonight here. We don't need any more water right now. My neighbor got his barn back under control. Mother nature sure gets angry sometimes!

I'm glad to hear you're ok now, these catastrophes could happen to everyone.

We had another scare a few days ago. A couple of town roads were wiped out again! Thankfully it didn't hurt the fields/pastures. Mother Nature is certainly beating us up.
