Flowers instead of crops?

Anyone plant an abundance of flowers to sell? I have beautiful flower gardens all around our property. I thought about trying to sell some of them next year. Tips?

Start getting out the word of mouth now. Plant certain flowers to bloom on certain occasions like Mothers Day, Valentines Day, etc....Put up fliers around town as well. It could be a good way to pick up some extra money.

I agree, start getting the word out now. If you have a local farmer's market, you could bring some of your flowers to the market with you along with your crops to start selling in the Spring. Post on social media about your plans. Take photos of your flowers to share on social media.

I am not there yet, even though for a long time, I have contemplated growing flowers for profit. They mature quickly and are easy to grow. I believe it is prudent to go for the flowers in high demand. Would you go for roses, peonies, larkspur or snapdragons?
