Combines For everyone having trouble with your flex head

So the best you get is 5mph. How big a head are you runningIJ If you're running a 30' head I guess I would be dissapointed. We have been wanting to trade our 75 and keep hoping for the new style unloader so we've held off. local dealer demo'ed a 2588 with a 30' draper last fall. We were in 50 bushel beans that cut ok, not tough, but not like butter. We were running our 75 with an 830 in the 4.6-4.8 mph. The 2588 was always able to run just a tad faster, usually 5-5.2. Dealer said the draper head made a huge difference. Said he had a customer with 2 2388's and one with a 30' flex head and the other a 36' draper and he said they would run at the same speed. They say guys with wheat and double crop beans really like they. We don't do any wheat so I'm not sure I can justify that extra expense for 1000-1500 acres of beans.

Just wondering what model of Macdon flex draper you are running. Thanks.
