Which plants do you manipulate into blooming this time of year? Forsythia is one my favorites. The flowers are a brilliant yellow, and it's one of the easiest plants to manipulate into blooming.

I don't usually do that. I don't sell many flowers except for during the summer when I make wildflower bouquets. Is it true that once you force a bulb that it won't bloom again? If that's the case it wouldn't be worth it to me.

I'm pretty new to this. If it's true what Susanna said about not blooming again, I would not do it either. We only sell flowers at our stand in the summer and fall.

Yeah, lots of pros say they won't bloom again, but that wasn't my experience. It might take a year of rest before they're super showy again though. I guess bulbs are my favorite to force, especially tulips.
