I have owned both a 2010 Chevy and 2015 f250 the gas mileage was about the same I had a utility bed with welder torches and tools both weighed in around 9500 lbs .what I noticed with the Chevy was it wouldn't down shift quick enough when climbing a hill it would fall completely on its face wouldn't down shift until you were down to about 25 mph and by then I done lost all my momentum. The ford seems to downshift as soon as it starts up a hill it keeps the rpms up and continues up the hill way better than the Chevy. It got to where I had to shift it manually with the manual button. The Ford is definitely more of a work horse thanks Rick
