Combines Funk tranny in a GleanerIJIJ

Better yet the infinitely variable transmission that Agco inherited when they bought Fendt in Germany. It is a dual path mechanical_hydrostat arrangement that is said to be the best of both worlds.

The only problem with this is as a combine is designed to run at full throttle you will have to be happy to operate at 16 or 18 set ground speeds.

Is there room for a tranny back there. I don't think you could run it from a belt. RWA would have to be shaft driven.

Fendt transmission and the old variable speed pulley system on the separator with electronic control of constant speed like the prop on an airplane. If changing load caused small jumps in engine rpm, up or down, it wouldn't effect the constant separator speed.
