We have had one since 1992 -- first one had the stationary knives -- no problems except replace a knife once in awhile!!!! Now have the RD model with the rotating knives -- takes less power -- have had this one since the first year it was out -- only replace the cut off knives -- the rotating knives are as sharp as day one!!! Wouldn't raise corn without it!!!!
