For those of you with a large spread of land, what do you use to get around? The pickup? A Polaris? Maybe just a golf cart?

I'm interested in other people's ideas.

4 wheeler right now, but hoping to upgrade to a side x side. More versatile, can haul more gear, carry more people, just makes sense.
Does not have to go on public roads, don't have to license.

The layout of the land should determine your choice of vehicle. For instance, a steep terrain will require something that will take you around the farm with ease. We currently use a 4-wheeler too, but a refurbished golf cart would be our second choice.

We use trucks but it's because our fields are spread apart and we need the big boxes on the back to transport the grapes back to the farm.
We do have a couple of 4-wheelers and we are buying a new side by side this spring.

When we had our 103 acre farm we used the pick up or tractors to get around on the proerty. We had several tractors of different sizes. Now we've downsized to a 9 acre property, so we just get around on foot. It's good exercise. If we need to move someting, we use our last remaining tractor. It has a loader, so we use that to transport things. We also have a riding mower with a cart to transport things. When we had the big fram, we always talked about getting a Gator, but we just couldn't justify the expense when using the tractors and pick up worked just fine.

We use our tractors and ATV to get around our farm (when we aren't walking). We do have a couple of corn fields a few roads over. We take the truck or tractor over there.

We use our 4-wheelers a lot. We do use the tractors too but for tooling around we use the 4-wheelers. We also ride horses around too. We have many ways to get around the farm.
