Gingerbread Barn

I try to get our kids enthusiastic about being on a farm so maybe they'll want to take over someday (but if they don't, it's okay). We always make a gingerbread house this time of year. It's a fun project that allows me to spend quality time with my kids.

This year, I got curious and went searching for a recipe for a gingerbread barn. I found this one: Gingerbread Barn

We are going to try and make it later today! I'm excited to see how it turns out.

How did it turn out? I bet it was super cute. We have not been very successful at making Gingerbread houses in the past. They always seem to fall apart.

It can definitely be a challenge to keep the house (or barn) together! It was a fun project! It is really cute. I'm actually thinking of having us do a second one to give to my parents (the kids' grandparents) as a homemade Christmas gift from the kids. I think they would really enjoy that.
