Your opinion needs tempering with the objectivity of real world experience! I speak from that experience, and that 30' Gleaner header you deride works great - giving a closer cleaner cut at greater ground speeds than any other header I see in my area. They have a wider range of cutter bar flex than others too. By the way, the balance weights are there because the feeder house is not centered in the head - not because of drive being on left end.

Hey yellow head why don't you go back over to your nh site and leave everyone else alone. You want to sling mud about how well combines are built but I haven't seen a Gleaner break apart half as bad as the only TR 70 that was ever in this area. As a matter of fact I haven't had any structural problems with any of the Gleaners I have owned. I guess you get bored waiting for someone to post over on the nh site so you go around and try to stir stuff up on other sites. I see you were over on the green site trying to antagonize them up. You talk about how wonderful the nh conventional combines are but I bet there aren't enough of them in the US to make a good fire. I believe no one here on this site cares what you think so why don't you keep your negative comments to yourself.

It's okay guys. This Magnum pansy is just sore that his new red CaseIH is going to be a banana combine (NH) painted red. Ouch. He should see the new plant in Hesston. Gleaner is here to stay, and again, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Deere could learn from this. They tried to reinvent the wheel with the STS, which is a sorry excuse for a rotary. And P.S.: The R72 will STIll outdo the 9750 STS in almost all crop conditions. Bring it on!
