My experience: Corn average 1 to 1.5 acres per hour in 140 bushel corn with 2 row head, 3 row cuts speed about one third, but you are picking more rows, Soybeans average 3 to 4.5 acres per hour with a 13' head. I have never picked beans over 35 bushels per acre. Greg

We'll forgive you for the jd comment I think you would be well satisfied with the K it is a fine machine for its size and machines that are supposed to be bigger than it. they tend to hold up very well when looked after properly. We would be honored to have some pictures of one running in your field.

I ran a K2 for over 6,000 hours. Pushed a 4-38" corn head for years. Nice little machine, set properly it will do a very nice clean job and the last I knew parts were readily available. The 433T is a tough little engine.

Ran 130 acres of corn througgh mine this year, 15 oats and 20 wheat, parts are very eay to get new or used. As reliable as an F, just narrower.

Just make sure the grain head is in good shape. Since you came from Deere, you may not realize that the Gleaners do not have a universal quick-tatch head system. A head from an F, although quick-tatch, will not fit a K, and a l head will not fit F. I have a K2 that has a rather beat-up 10 foot floating cutterbar platform that I'd like to replace with a 12 foot rigid, but I haven't found one yet. I've been offered several heads that are basically junk, and what people think they are worth would make a nice downpayment on a bigger combine. 2 row corn heads are a lot more common, but with scrap prices up now, who knowsIJ
