I heard Jonh Deere was bringing back there mixer mills, I guess they don't mix as well as the old, but they crack the grain nicer. I will warn you though thet are pretty flamable. The numbers are 9650sts and 9750sts. HAHA

My neighbor runs all Masseys and we know what the MF stands for on them. His name for our Gleaners is Galvanized Pheasant Feeder.

Gleaners were also called silver bullets in our area (when there used to be some around). They got that name because they were so fast on the road, going back to the dealership to get fixed!

My dad came up with a good one a few years ago when he was in the field with 2 R-72's he called them the "sliver bullies" and they passed the little 1680 he was driving.

do you know why they paint John Deere's greenIJ It's so that they can hide in the bushes while the New Holland does all the work.

Sounds like some poor operators if they had to take them to the dealership.Ive never take a Gleaner in I do all the work myself because there easy to work on and simple in design. The JD dealer in town looks like a used combine lot with all those Deeres parked out back.

I enjoyed this to learn more nicknames of combines. I will from now on call Mine the GREEN GRAIN GRINDER. You know come to think about it I do think it cracks corn and beans maybe a little more than rotary. Thanks for all the comments.
