G'day, and a merry christmas and prosperous new year to everyone. This year, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and had said offending gland removed, and then had a new knee installed so I could climb into the harvester (and ski in Colorado). I retired from my business of selling electrical appliances about 2 years ago to become a farmer full time (part time for 5 years before that) and I can assure anyone who cares to know that I'd rather be a farmer anyday. Both from a business and lifestyle point of view. 2009 is going to be a great year!

Amen Tbran, Here in North Alabama, for the 1st time since winter of 2005, we finally have field conditions to wet to do any type of work, not even soil samples! Been another tough year, but able to hang on to go another round. Most importantly, family is all together, and everyone healthy. Thank you and all the others who share your expertise and knowledge on this forum. Hope every one has Merry Christmas, and a prosperous 2009. greg
