Hey One year out of the last 5 we had wrapping problems on the spreader. We solved it by taping duct tape around any areas that were not smooth. Including all around the triangles that stabilize the vertical shaft to the horizontal pan portion. We even taped over , up higher, where the vertical drive shaft meets the spreader. Further, we taped to cover the holes that allow you to adjust the fins on the spreader. You should check the tape each time you empty the hopper until you are sure it is right. Crop conditions dictated this remedy was only needed one year -- no problems since. Hope this works for you too. Safe Harvest All. MCA

I might split a piece of PCV pipe and cover the triangles on the shaft. but good ole duct tape might work as well.
