What are your thoughts on greenhouses? We are seriously thinking about making one. Our winters are long and cold so our garden season is short. What are the pros and cons of having a greenhouse?

pros are increased grow season & control in climate, cons are cost & maintenance costs...not much to argue imho only question is when to get one or if youll have room for one now or if youll need to make room.

I don't know a lot about them. I don't have one but I would love to if there are little cons. I have tons of room available so I'll look into it too.

We have been thinking of making a small greenhouse to start. My problem is, I hate tomatoes that taste like they were grown in a hot house. Do greenhouse vegetables taste like the ones from our garden?
