It's rare, but it does happen. 1975 JD 3300D with only 200 hours was found in Central New Jersey in 1998. Owner bought it new, used it a couple of years, became ill with cancer. He quit farming but didn't sell any machinery. Combine was cleaned out, oiled, greased, parked in the shed and the doors were closed. He lingered a few years, then passed on. Wife kept everything where it was as it was. She died in 1996. The kids eventually cut the trees away from the buildings and out everything came.

Few years back I heard of a 510 MF with almost no hours on it as the guy brought it home then either died or went bankrupt and there it sit in a shed for 20-25 years. Heard it was still in perfect working order.
