Combines header clutch

If the design is the same as a 750 and 850, there are threaded holes in the clutch where you can run a special setscrew and lock the clutch. You will need to align the holes and the setscrew will go into the inner part and lock it. Hope this helps.

It can be considered normal to require installing the pins to run the corn head, as the manual recommends it. Although I have run without them before. The only way you'll know is to try it under load. If it works at all the clutch coil should be ok. Check for proper assembly, bearings condition and clearances.

Put brand new clutch on 860 and had same problem. They wont run with a 6 row head. I do not know why.
