riceman, the number you have listed there is the number of the CIH dealer in Hutchinson, KS. He is a dealer for those milo guards. In fact he is located right accross the street from where they are manufactured at. If he doesn't have any in stock he can get them in just a few minutes. I've been using those guards for about ten years and I think they are the best you can buy.

Agreed, we have them on our 25' 1010 and they work extremely well. With a bat reel we can shove the milo through about as fast as you would ever need to without dropping any heads.

I did a search and came up with a post and I think it may have actually been your post. Hope you don't mind me reposting it.. Whats the name of the company that makes themIJ I could never find a name. The other gaurds that I found on the internet all have the wires or look like sunflower pans and I just don't like the wire ones. I have a set of the picket fence style in plack plastic and we love them. Well worth the money.

Bat reelIJ I was wondering about how much the reel has to do with feeding. Several of the pictures I seen on the website for the milo guards mentioned earlier in this thread had solid bats on the headers instead of what our U2 reel on the 9320 has. Any thoughts on thisIJ Really want to make this crop work as it seems to work really well on the lighter ground in our area. Depending on how much more the company we contract with wants we may even go to a corn, soybean, sorghum rotation on some of the better ground and stick to sorghum-soybeans on the sand. But really need to work on cutting down harvest loss before getting to dedicated to it.

I think the name of the milo guards that look like a white picket fence are Britten or Britton. They work excellent with bat reels or a pick up reel I have used them on both. I do have a set I would sell if you are interested post back let me know.

I am not sure what you mean by Kwick cutIJ Do you mean the sections are only 1.5 inches wide as opposed to the regular 3" sections. I think they would work but am not sure. Where are you locatedIJ The guards are in Central Kansas if you were close you could go over there and pick them up and try them out. Then if they would work for you we could make a deal. Don't know if you have ever heard of the 3I show in Great Bend Kansas but the guards are at a small town near their. Hope this helps

Yes, exactly. The points are 1.5" apart with 3 per guard, and I believe the bolts are on 3" centers. What brand are the ones you haveIJ Maybe I can contact the manufacturer and check with them. We are in North liberty, Indiana. Kind of a long drive.

The brand name is Britton they come in 3' sections and are white in color and look like a white picket fence. I bought them at Straub International in Great Bend KS. I have 2 complete sets that is why I would like to sell one set. But I guess you are quite a ways away. Hope this helps.
