I've gotten some nifty ideas from YouTube over the years, but nothing beats the creativity and ingenuity that drives homemade farm machinery. Check out this video for a look at what I mean:

I like the second machine personally. I can fix things that are broken and I can rig something up, so long as I have the parts, but I'd never dream that stuff up from scratch.

I'm the same way Henderson. I can fix almost anything if I have the parts. I did go to school for that (in school). I'm not much of a designer though. I've got ideas, but no time.

Necessity is the other of invention. I always like looking at things like this, then go out to the garage to see if I need to do this.

I wish we were this "mechanically inclined"! I'm crafty but with crafts, not equipment! I wish though. I wish my husband was too. We come up with great ideas of what we need, but that is as far as it goes.
