My Honda generator won't start. It will turn over, but it's not firing or starting. It's a newer generator, so (hopefully) I'm just overlooking something simple. Any idea what it might be?

How old the gas in the tank?

Do you have spark?
If so is the fuel shut off open
If so drain gas and add fresh
Clean or replace plug
Eliminates 99% of issues right there.

X2 ^^^^^but it needs oil in the crank as well if it has oil alert but that you would find if you check for spark as you said...
