As previously stated that's very dependent on area. For comparison, that rate is closer to the lower end for renting small-to-medium sized skid steers -- even here in central northern Alabama.
So it may be worth checking rental rates in your area as there are contractors who will rent their equipment from a rental place and then add on their labor rates to get an averaged hourly rate for their work. Which in my opinion is more honest than the billing for the entire rental cost plus the labor costs for each job the equipment is used on..... (heard of that happening a time or two).
