How many ears of corn grow on one 7? does the density of seeds planted affect that number?
If your corn is crammed together you'll end up with plants that are competing for the same limited resources - water, nutrients, and sunlight. You could end up with weaker plants and smaller ears of corn. I suppose they'd do a good job of keeping out the weeds, so there is that. However, if you're interested in smothering out the weeds, you could do a three sisters number and have a better outcome if you like squash or pumpkins and climbing beans.Does the density of seeds planted affect that number?
