How many lights you need

Did you know there's an actual formula to how many Christmas lights you need? Apparently it's one strand per foot. I had no idea. I guess it's easier than the look and see method that I usually rely on.

We always use way more than that. My wife thinks a Christmas tree isn't complete unless it has some blinking lights, bi-color lights, running lights, icicle shaped lights, and white lights - at the minimum.

Wow! Now that's funny. I never knew there was a chart for Christmas lights on a tree. We use a lot - the more, the better! Man, there are charts for everything!
