Getting into ranching cost a pretty penny, but I had experience on my dad's ranch which helped a lot. Personally, I wouldn't expand right now if I was you UNLESS you know you have a direct market and a way to get your product to them. If you're going to run beef cattle, make sure there's a slaughterhouse/packing plant that will take your cattle. COVID-19 and our regulations with other countries has hurt the cattle rancher and the dairy farmer alike.
