If you really want to make it work nice and cut lower than you do now and inprove feeding try doing what we just did. First we took the skid shoes off and at the very top where it curves up an 1.25" was cut off this allows us to cut as low as a Deere head does and feeds much better, we still like having the air reel too but at least we can cut short beans now instead of knocking them over. This has been done to an 800 20' head and we are very pleased now, too bad Agco didn't think of this in the first place and make the changes instead of us having to do it, many thanks to our dealer too. Agco know nows this will make a big inprovement to their flex heads and i hope they have the sense to make the changes in the future, like now not in 2 years or more. I know some Agco guys read this and i hope they do something.
