Suggest you go with the aftermarket Marlin blades and wear bars if you have feeding and growling problems. you can see them on loewen webb site.

I am not familiar with the Marlin's. And yes I have a problem with rice and tough stem beans feeding evenly with the rigid header I am using. What makes the marlin's feed betterIJ Forever how much on the marlin wear platesIJ, if you have a set.

I replaced mine with a rebuilt set from Estes manufacturing. They were rebuilt and hardfaced and much cheaper that a new set from Case IH. He has a site on the internet. Not sure what it is, but type it in a search engine. It doesn't cost much to ship them if you keep the package below 70 lbs. i think.

Red, You have to understand the marlin ear is shorter than an oem ear. The wear plates will not interchange. The wear plate is a hardened material for extened wear. I don't know of a site where you could see a picture.

rob, How long have you ran your rebuilt impeller blades from EstesIJ Did they also have the wear platesIJ or a kitIJ

put new paddles on and turn the notches out. My R7 had impeller and only time i had trouble was with smooth side out. Very few problems with either R72's I cut mostly wheat and milo few beansand corn. Use the teeth!!!

Thanks for the info. You said you cut milo what kind of set up do you use. Are your R72's hypernized , what bars do you runIJ I have troble with grain being carried out the rotor when cutting green milo. Thanks for any info
