For you two people who just seriously knocked me, here are a few facts for you to know. Fact n1 - there aren't many combines sold in this country anymore, and right now Deere is selling 7000 per year. Case sold less than 1000, and New Holland half of that. To me, that's trouble. Fact n2 - when was the last time you saw multiple brand strategies workIJ Is it working with AGCOIJ Don't think so. In fact, they are now starting to consolidate their lines, and the new tractor line that they are coming out with won't be an Allis or a White. It will be an AGCO painted AC orange, so for those loyal White customers, they're out of luck. How do you people think it's going to work when you have two dealers competing over the same business offering the same product only different colorsIJ They're set to drive each other out of business. At least with the AGCO dealers they were few and far between so it wasn't a big deal, but there are a lot more CaseIH and NH dealers around, so I see that to be a problem. Personally, I just can't see it ever working, and don't be surprised if they're is another buyout of one of these companies in the very near future. Fact n3 - CNH hasn't shown anything close to a profit since the merger. Yep, they're restructuring and all, but Deere is going to make it next to impossible for them to ever get going strong in the other direction. I'm not sure why you 2 jumped all over me, I just said that I don't agree with the way CNH is running the company, and I KNOW I'm not the only one who shares my opinion.
