637 loading about.5mph and still can kill it...your pointIJ Depends on the type of material your working in, depth of cut, etc etc. Heck even push_pulling with 2 scrapers it was no speed job to load in the right material, 2-3 mph would seem like light speed at times.

That was your problem. The engine starts to derate horspower in 6th gear. In 2nd gear you have derated close to 100 horspower.
