Combines John Deere 6030

Nope this is a different 6030. The one I got is over where the they are putting in that new industrial park in Henrico county. I have seen the one you are talking about it is right where 301 crosses I 95, she is right rough, mine is in better shape than that one. I wouldn't mind having it for parts if you hear of anyone wanting to get rid of it.

The JD dealer told me that a lot of the factory cabs in the late 60s and 70s were made by Hiniker and Stolper. He didn't mention Eggon. Were they aftermarhet cabs or did the guy sell them to JDIJ This cab does not have metal frames around the windows like other older JD factoy cabs. It just has rubber gaskets around the windows that are dry rotted. The cab might be beyond repair. I might get a Sound Guard Body from a tractor wrecking yard to put on it. There is a 6030 on Machinfinder.com that has a SGB on it.

VAfarmboy !i can tell you this much a 6030 has the toughestrearend and trany of any brand made !Cummins engine company has run test on them for there motors and have never broken one !but cann't say that for the rest of them ! had it over 575 hp and was afraid too go more ! So i think you'll be ok with this BIG OX OF A TRACTOR !PS ONlY NO OF ONE TRACTOR THAT DEERE HAD PROBlEMS WITH REAREND AND TRANY ! AND WE HAVE ONE OF THEM ! 4430!STIll AGOOD TRACTOR !
