I need help with John Deere tractor hydraulics troubleshooting, I have a 2640. The hydraulics and steering are jumpy lately and I have to rev the engine to get them to work.

First off, check the level of your hydraulic fluid. I know that sounds obvious and you’ve probably already done it. From there, I’d think you’re probably leaking somewhere, but it could be something more complicated.
