I could really use some tips on keeping my business politically neutral without facing backlash from customers. There's a huge mess going on in Georgia about voting rights. It seems like customers want us to choose sides though, and it's small business owners that stand to lose.

As long as your business hasn't made a donation to a candidate, a PAC, or a political party, then I don't see how politics would come into play in this instance. I'd remind whoever is asking that your business doesn't participate in politics.

I'm not such an expert in politics, but I know for sure that you aren't forced to take a position (unless you are a multi billionare company or something like that, but this isn't the case). Anyway, a good "tip", if I can call it in this way, is to try to stay away from any political part, cause after a donation then there is a sequence of favors and donations you can't escape...

I agree 100% with the other's here, just stay out of it. Don't donate to either side and don't share your political views with anyone (at your business). We don't get asked many political questions here. Another good tip, don't post or like any political anything on social media.

I vote, but my business 100% has nothing to do with politics. I mean nothing. I never post anything political on social media either. Unfortunately, both conservative and liberal customers have started demanding that businesses pick a side. It's happened to both Coke and Delta. They can weather that storm though, because they're large businesses with plenty of money. I keep getting asked to make a stand while I'm running my stall at the farmers market. I keep saying that I don't want to discuss politics and that my business isn't political.
