I am in Peterborough County in east central Ontario land here rents anywhere from 10-35 per acre. 1000.00 acre to buy of course if it's a building lot you have to pay 25-50,000 an acre makes alot of sense don't it. Great talking.
Here in East Central Alberta at my location, good land (45 bpa. wheat, 35 bpa. canola, 75bpa. barley) (when rains). Sells for 1100_ac. Rents 30-40. Unfortunately a competitive buying area. Values are C$. Divide 1.60 to US$.
I live in southeastern Arkansas (and yes, we are glad the Clintons are in New York now),good land in our area is going from $1600-$2500 an acre. Cash rent on good rice ground is around $75-$120 an acre.
I live in England, Arable land goes for $3,000 to $4,500(USD),but recently some land near us broke the British record @ $18,000 per acre,(for vegetables)
I'm farm 25 minutes from Edmonton Alberta and farm land has been selling for 2500 to 3000+ an acre for good land. Cash rent is 40 to 60 an acre again dependig on land.
