SInce livestock breeding leads directly to more livestock that is needed to help feed America, the live auctions are deemed essential. Most of them are outdoors so it's easy to social distance yourself.

So next time anyone hears about a livestock auction taking place, please don't freak out. We need these to happen.

They are definitely essential. I think as long as people are social distancing, there is no need to cancel livestock auctions. I wouldn't blame some people if they would rather hold auctions online right now, though, either.

I believe livestock auctions are essential as well, but being safe is also critical. Thankfully, a lot of the auctions take place in large spaces where you can distance yourself from other people. There are always online auctions to check out, too.
