Being burnt at the the big yellow stake is nothing compared to being put through the "big green ringer", which is what I'm experiencing right now. I like the self-leveling shoe on the new CR's, and I'm certainly not "condemning" the new models; - I just really liked the TR-99 and now I wished I would have bought one rather than my Deere.

I'm curious, why the John Deere if you really wanted the '99IJ JD

Hello JD, I traded my late model 9610 on the 9650, and I felt I got "top dollar" for my trade from Deere; - an offer which the NH dealer couldn't match. In addition, my local NH dealer didn't want my trade, and I was in no position to sell it privately without being able to offer the finance programs which dealers can offer, and there was no existing "transferrable" financing on my 9610. I should have "swallowed-hard" and taken the deal from New Holland regardless.

That seems to be a major complaint with guys switching out of John Deere's doesn't itIJ Ward Implement in Beech Grove, Ky would be a good dealer to try to trade with if you didn't try 'em. They sell more NH's in my area than the local's combined and he's 15hrs westIJ I bought my last one from him, they doubled my trade value offered by the local's but it was a TR. Your reason for staying green is what I'm scared of if I go to a Massey, there isn't a Massey combine dealer within tomorrow from here and you never know what Agco is going to doIJ I really do like the looks of the machine though, it just needs another rotor in it!
