Low-maintenance beauties?

Aloe Vera is great because it has healing properties and it doesn't require a lot of water, but it's not exactly the most beautiful or eye-catching plant. Are there any low-maintenance plants that bloom, have gorgeous foliage, or have aromatic leaves or flowers?

Canna lilies are pretty, and they have a nice smell, too. They need to be kept moist, but if you accidentally forget to give them a drink occasionally, they will still be okay.

If you like orange flowers, marigolds are very easy to care for. I have some growing in my backyard.

We have some hardy hibiscus in our garden, and it's a lovely flower. It requires decent soil and full sunlight. It is pretty easy to care for. We really like these flowers because they attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
