Combines M2 to N6

I went from an M2 to an N5 a couple seasons ago ther is a huge difference in capacity for me in both corn and soybeans. Adapting your heads is probably possible but may take more effort than it is worth. In my area (east central Il) M2 heads especially flex heads will bring twice as much as the machine itself if they are good. You may be able to sell your M heads and make enough $ to pay for good N series heads.

My R60 gets more done in 8 hours with 1 operator than my M2 and l2 did in 12 hours with 2 operators. I agree with the other guy on your heads. They stopped making l_M heads about 15 years ago so good ones are almost impossible to find and they will usually command a premium price because demand currently exceeds supply.

Make sure the N6 has a chopper and get one new enough to at least have the same throat hookups and the R's have now. A good running N6 will make you wonder why you did not make the change years ago.
