Making difficult decisions

What would you do if your banker was pressurizing you to abandon a venture just because you were yet to break even and start making a profit? The decision to liquidate should be a farmer's idea and should be arrived at after consultation. However, we are often forced to make difficult decisions because of situations outside our control.

Well if I couldn't make the payment to the banker I would have to get some financial help. Failure is always in the back of my mind. So far, so good though. Hopefully too many people aren't facing this right now.

If this is a banker with whom you've had a long business relationship, then you should consider all available options. Also, consult to get a second and third opinion. Farming, just like any other investment, can be unpredictable at times.
