What do you grow that has medicinal value? So far I've grown the basics such as chamomile, peppermint, echinacea, aloe vera and such. But this coming season I'm hoping to branch out into the more exotic plants. Astragalus is next on my list. If you haven't already tried growing chamomile, it's incredibly easy to grow and the flowers are beautiful. It's a good one to start with if you're interested in medicinal plants.

I wouldn't call mine a medicinal garden necessarily, but I grow a few things that could be used for that purpose. Chocolate mint, lemon balm, and lavender come to mind. I'll have to give chamomile a try this coming spring.

My wife grows aloe vera and many other plants. I think that is the only really medicinal one. She did mention that she was going to try new things this growing season.

How big of pots do you plant these in?
