Memorial Day plans

Anyone have any traditions for Memorial Day? We go to the local parade and honor those who have fallen protecting us. We also have a big neighborhood cookout.

We are trying to get the rest of our garden in. that will probably take all of the 3 day weekend.

I'm still too afraid of COVID-19 to venture out into a large crowd. I've been vaccinated, but it's hard to shake that fear. I hope I can get over it soon.

Everyone on staff is putting together Memorial Day pots to commemorate the day. They are selling like hotcakes, so that's what I'll be doing for the holiday weekend. This is a bit unusual. We always experience a spike in sales around this time, but not like this. I think the community is just so happy to be able to get out after being stuck inside and in isolation for so long, that Memorial Day will be a bigger celebration than it usually is.
