the 8450 is a claas made conventional combine. We had the 8460 and it was comparable to the 1688 It was a good machine but parts were high priced but then whos arent we put on 1900hrs with few problems. Massey 8450 would be about the same as a 1660 dealer carried good parts but not sure about now. You would need to find adapters to use the 760 heads

buy your parts from a lexion dealer, just drop the C's out of the massey number and their is your claas number. 5% to 30% cheaper. Know a guy who has 8450 and does that. Not all parts are claas, but most. Heck, if they are are Challenger dealer also they may be able to order the massey parts cheaperIJ
