Combines MF 9790 and MF 9690 Users

On my 8780xp I put two blanks on the concave and run air foil chaffer.The rotor is at 850 to 900 wind 750 780 open the bottom sieve up wide 3_4 to 1 inch. Closing down the sieve shuts off the air and can make the grain dirty.With a 25 head I can cut 80 wheat at 4 mph and can't find any thing on the gruond,like one kernal per foot. good luck

I think the key with these machines in wheat is the addition of an air foil chaffer. I continuously fought trying to avoid throwing over wheat, but the air foil completely solved it. Was able to almost double ground speed.
