im from north florida close to the alabama georgia line, i have 2 1440 IHs one standard and one specialty i run both about 500RPMs and can tell very little difference in corn at any moisture level both nave factory seives,i run fan alittle slow around 850 and sample is very clean,i open bottom and top seive up slightly more than book settting, specialty machine has keystocks and large wire concaves. standard rotor has small wire and slotted grates , make sure slates on slotted grates are between slots and on inside. you do not need an 8 row head if you need more just change drive sprocket on head and speed up, good luckIJIJIJIJ
