Combines Need some info about Deutz air cooled engine in R 50

Pete, I would think on the bicycle a 30w would cut oil comsumption.(lOl) It may be the brand or operating temps or load placed on engines that make one oil better than another. I don't really know but if it works it works. I suppose that why they make all kinds of oil. I do know that different brands of oil will increase or decrease oil useage. Ilnewholland

Yes, we'd have to reinsert dipstick to get a correct oil level reading on our Deutz powered R50. It almost acted like the dipstick tube would vapor lock and not allow correct oil level the first time.

Hello Sebas. I am not sure about what kind of oil my Dad is using, or the intercooler, but I am pretty sure that we are running at about 2600 RPMs also. Thanks for your help, Neal A.
