JD, now I am not sure what engine I had in my TR97(it was a 1995). It used the Genesis filters also, so I was thinking it was. Ilnh

How does the TG transmission work on a big Grain cart with unload speeds in excess of 600bu_min. I bet it is inferior to the old 70 series. Also the minute you move the tranny controller I bet your engine RPM's drop 400 Rpm's which in turn drops your PTO. Modern technolgy at work, they think they can engineer a tractor that any idiot can operate and not tare up. Maybe so but it does have some instances of negative progress. My brother has the little Cat, Tranny controls are great on a grain cart, but little weanie Cat engine and low cab heigth are its draw backs. How about, have you ever noticed that if you have a very heavy piece of equipment and try to pinch the flow control down so that lowering speed is reasonable, that your load checks will just cause a chatter of equipment to the ground. That is because the electrmagnet part is not strong enough to overcome the return pressure against the load check. You did not have to worry about this with the levers, there was enough mechanical leverage with me behind the lever. I know the blue and the RED dealers in my town are struggling with this issue.

I was wondering if someone could inform me about the New Holland combine. I would like to know how a TR 97 would preform in beans_corn and how much work or if an would have to be done on a 1995 with 1200 hours on it. I was just wondering overall how good of a machine they are and how the would compare to a R62 or 72 in corn in beans and if they are pretty low matince machines or high.
