It sounds pretty good to me, but I would cover the first concave. I would also pull every other wire from the back half of the second concave. I predict you will be pretty happy unless the straw gets REAllY tough, then she may growl a bit. let us know how she does!

Raining this morning so I won't get a chance to pound some wheat threw. Hopefully tomorrow we can go.

You would have a hard time pulling wires out of round bar concaves as there are none . Not sure how well they will work in wheat . I do use them in beans and corn . Have never tried them in wheat . Maybe the Gordon bars make the difference . Joe

Agreed, I was talking about the OEM wheat concave in the n2 position.
