I keep seeing the acronym being bantered around in discussions about digital currency and digital works. What is this all about? Is it an investment vehicle? I tried googling, but the information went over my head.

Non-fungible token is what it stands for. My brother and I were talking about this the other day. It's basically describing an item you cannot physically hold. Like digital art for example. Digital items bought by digital currency that have a "digital" worth.

What in the world? So what is the point of owning something you can't hold? I'm going to have to do some digging on this one. I've got a great financial mind but this is new to me.

I've googled it to death and read article after article about it. I think it sounds like a huge scam, but since it's legal I figured I must be misunderstanding what it was about. Glad to hear I'm in good company.
