Bub..don't mean to sound stupid here but make sure it is not a flasher line you have hooked in to has your 9600 got autohieght etc check in the control box in the grain tank and make sure your have the right electronic board etc some machine never came with all the links to hook it up good luck

which style sensor does the header haveIJ the 3 position box that the 9010 and older combines use, or does it have to poteniometer for the 50 series and newer combinesIJ

It would have the potenometer that the 50 series have I took it right off a 9650 when I picked it up in the field they were using it Thanks Dale

sounds like you need the whole good bundle to convert it over to your 9000 electronics. Takes about an hour, you have to pull a wire to the rh side and put a new bracket and sensor on.
